Hubs and I just bought a new build house and didn’t want to have to buy wood or clean out ashes in our fireplace so we ordered this insert and it’s exactly what I was wanting. I love that we can now have a fire going whenever we want with a click of a button on the remote and it looks just like the real thing without the mess. Worth every dollar!

This faux Fireplace insert is everything he promises it will be. It works lovely and the heat works and remote works it is perfect for the single ladies… No muss no fuss… So easy for me to do a lot of my own.

We have a nice wood burning fireplace. We seem to use it less and less each year. Wanted something easy to use so we could have a “fire” more often without the mess. Gas fireplaces were too expensive, and once you had it installed you couldn’t go back to a wood fire. This electric fireplace you can take out anytime and have your real fireplace back. Amazing thing!

Exactly what we needed. We had a Gel can fireplace, which was nice, but was very expensive to operate. We were able to put this in and it is absolutely beautiful. The ” flames” flicker on the back of the firebox, and the movement of the glow in the embers can be controlled by the remote, as well as the heater. Love this insert.

Hello. I have a question. I hope it’s not too weird or anything but I was wondering if I install an electric fireplace, will it still burn/work if I lose electricity at my house? Like it happened once, luckily I had a gas burning flame at the time so it kept us warm for a couple of hours the electricity was out.

I read all of the reviews of which there were many, some good some not so good, so I ordered the DuraFlame with trepidation. I really wanted one of the upper end, realistic electric log inserts, but they were all too large for our small fireplace. This was the only one that fit. Am I glad I ordered this reasonably priced insert. It looks really great! Heats just like the real one!

I’m very very very pleased with this!! It’s looks so real looking! It throws out just enough heat to really feel like the real thing! I was skeptical at first and even put off buying this for awhile but I decided to take my chances on it after reading all the great reviews on it and WOW I am not disappointed. I’m gonna get the sound crackler next to give it that last real effect it needs!

Hey can I adjust the height of flame on my fireplace? Idk how it works and I lost the manual. I’m not sure if it’s even possible with my fireplace. It’s an electric one but a little traditional. Thank you!

I bought duraflame a couple of months ago and its great. I like it because it’s very versatile and more realistic looking that many of the other insets that have to be mounted. It puts out enough heat to warm a small room to a nice temperature. I’m considering purchasing 2 more of these for other rooms in my house.

Best purchase I’ve made all year! The DuraFlame is love. We had a cold front come in and our furnace died. Our house was so cold and we were starting to get sick. This little guy warmed our entire bedroom and we have a rather large master bedroom. My husband even said he was too hot! I didn’t think it was possible to look like real flames but it totally does! Best of all: no more wood slivers or messy ashes to clean up! No smoke!
